The Cyber Essentials scheme was introduced by the UK Government in 2014 as a way to help make the UK the safest place to do business.
The UK has seen significant inflation since the last price change in January 2022, so the NCSC has agreed that prices for Cyber Essentials certifications should rise as follows from 1 April 2024:
- Micro (0-9 staff): £320 (from £300)
- Small (10-49 staff): £440 (from £400)
- Medium (50-249 staff): £500 (from £450)
- Large (250+ staff): £600 (from £500).
