Phishing campaign targets students by offering tax refunds

University students have been bombarded with fake tax refund emails in the last month, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has warned.

If you receive emails / texts claiming to be from HMRC which you suspect are fake, you can report them by forwarding to phishing@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk or 60599.
